No more bops

Yesterday we decided to have Logan get rid of all his bops. He searched the entire house for all of them (I think we were only down to 4 or 5) and threw them in the garbage. He and Jeremy then carried the bag outside to our garbage bin. As he was walking out, he was saying "bye bops." When it came to bedtime, all he could do was ask about the bops. I felt so bad, but knew that it had to be done. We snuggled and read books until he had fallen asleep, which was about 9:45. He slept great through the entire night, but woke up at 6:00am emotional about his bops. After snuggling for alittle bit, we got up and waved goodbye to dad. This was another emotional time for Logan since he is a daddy's boy, but after some juice and breakfast he was fine. The garbage truck came and took the bops away about 7:30 this morning, and Logan just sat and watched the truck. When the truck left, all he could say was "all done, mama." Yep....we're all done. Let's hope that the next few days are as easy as this. For being such a big boy, daddy's picking up Logan a new sprinkler to play in. Thank goodness he's easy to please. I think an ice cream cone would make him happy:)
