2 trips to ND in 2 weeks...

A couple weeks ago the boys and I went to ND to visit everyone while we were on spring break. We weren't sure if we were going to go or not because Bennet wanted to get sick a day or two before we were suppose to leave. At first we thought it possibly was croup, but after a day at home it looked like a bad cold due to teething. We're thinking there are anywhere from 2-4 teeth coming in! Poor thing. He just smiles and drools. Thank goodness we don't have the ear infections like we did with Logan!
The morning we were suppose to go, he seemed to be doing okay so we decided to go. Since there is no way I could do it by myself, we went with Richie and Judy. Thank goodness we had them! We managed fine on the way out there but on the way back it was a long trip. Bennet is not liking these long trips anymore
While we were there, we were able to pack in a lot of visiting with everyone on both sides of the family. It's hard to do and it gets a little crazy, but we always manage. Here are some fun pictures of our first trip:

After we got back home, we only had 9 more days to settle, unpack and then repack again for our trip back for Syd's 1st bday on Easter Sunday! The winds were HORRIBLE on our way out there; so bad that me and the boys were having a hard time sleeping and being comfortable. Saturday was a blur. The cousins came over to namma and papa H's house to color eggs and go on a search for a golden egg. We cruised up to my parent's home for an hour to say hello, ran errands, had lunch, took a nap and then went over to Syd's house for her birthday party. We had another egg hunt (which was hilarious and fun), as well as had lots of great food from aunty Dawn, birthday cake, and then played, played and played. All the men were in the basement watching the basketball games while all the kids and women were upstairs. Gotta love it! :) Sunday was quick with finding our Easter baskets, a yummy breakfast, packed up the truck, headed to church and then on the road to back home again.
