my b is a bean

This morning b had his one year checkup. I was hoping that there was a big growth spurt since he eats like it's his last meal, but nope. B weighs 19 lbs 13 oz on their scale (he had 2 blowouts this morning before we left), and on our scale he was just over 20lbs. I'm sticking with mine:) He is now 30 inches, and remains to have a big head.
The doctor was very happy though to see that b is an awesome eater. He eats more than me and Logan! The only food he will not eat is mac and cheese. His favorites are grilled cheese, chicken, baked beans (yuck!), blueberries, bananas (if he gets to hold it) and puffcorn. With these foods he tends to moan out "num, num". It's quite hilarious. And if you give him an ice cream cone, don't try to take it away unless you want a trantrum on your hands.

B crawls all over the place, walks around furniture, stands on his own, pushes his toys all over the place, and has now taken one step on his own. I'm thinking he will be right on track with Logan's pace of walking at 13 months, 5 days. He loves to show that he is one by holding up his little pointer finger. He laughs and smiles when he knows he's not suppose to be doing something. Bennet waves, claps, and loves to dance (will even due it on cue). If the gate is not up, he cruises and laughs as he heads for the stairs going up. He will stop and look to see if you are going to come chase him, and then squeal as he tries to climb up faster before you get him. He's quite the stinker!

Some babbles that Bennet likes to shout out are mum, dada, daddy, nah-nah, and every so often he will say hi and dat. This morning he copied me saying ishy as I was shooing him out of the dishwasher. This child gets into everything!
Last but least, b loves to pound and play with his big brother. He wants to be wherever his brother is; play with what he has; as well as tackle or pull on Logan. I've got a feeling those two are going to be trouble makers.
