little b

Another big weekend for our little b. Saturday morning we woke to him getting another top tooth. He now has 6 teeth! 4 on the bottom & 2 on top. He is a trooper through all this teething. We've only had to deal with drooling and cutting back on the bottles every now and then, and some shortening of naps too. But overall, he's the happiest little bugger ever!
He is really figuring out the army crawling too. He only does this though if he really wants something he knows he shouldn't have. He can go from being on his belly to pushing himself to sitting. such a big boy! he's rocking on all fours, will go one step even, but then collapses and does his army crawl. Some day he will figure it out.
Saturday was also the day of getting his 1st haircut! Not much to cut off, but the bangs and the hairs around the ears were driving me nuts. It was time to get them under control. Here is his before picture....

He sat in the seat all by himself! playing with the apron and flirting with all the ladies! they ate him up too. he had them around his little chubby fingers. b sat through the entire haircut with no fussing until the clippers came out. he wanted nothing to do with them, but with some distractions from logan, me and another gal, we got the job done. They saved a little clipping of his hair for me to take home. Logan was such a big help he deserved the sucker. Bennet just got lots of attention.

last night i went out with some friends for a little bit while rich, judy, maggie and felipe came over to watch soccer and the boys for me. jer was out of town, so they were so AWESOME to come down for just the day. (thank you again for all the help)! i got home about 10:15p and guess who was waiting for me???? little b. he was WIDE awake, playing, laughing and having his own little party. he would not go to sleep for them. as soon as they left, he finished his bottle and was sleeping in 5 minutes. what a little bugger.
this morning was the first time that both boys slept in unitl 8:30 for me! i of course couldn't sleep anymore, not sure why but i was waiting for them to wake up this time. bennet turned 10 months today! i cannot believe that he is almost one. my little b is growing up way too fast. sooner or later he will be in logan's shoes....i can't imagine what logan will be like at 5. ugh! i can't go there just yet. i'm keeping them little as long as i can.
